Invoicing · Verified payments · Profit, for Nigerian business

Never fall for a fake alert again.

TrueAlert sends your invoice on WhatsApp with a payment link that is yours alone. When the customer pays by transfer, card or USSD, the money is confirmed by the bank, not by a screenshot. Then it tells you your real profit.

The problem

Three ways Nigerian businesses lose money without noticing.

You are good at what you sell. The leaks are in the paperwork, the alerts and the “I will pay you tomorrow” that never comes.

01 / FAKE ALERTS

A screenshot is not a payment.

Fake‑alert apps make a transfer “receipt” in seconds. Goods leave the shop, the money never lands. In Jan 2025 police reported one clothing seller losing ₦220,000 this way, and there are many more that never reach the news.

GTBank Credit Alert
Amt: NGN 220,000.00
Acct: ***4471 · Bal: 1,448,210.00
Desc: TRF/CLOTHES

TrueAlert fix: every invoice gets its own payment link or account number. We mark it paid only when the bank confirms. No screenshot can fake that.

02 / NOTEBOOKS

Debtors forget. Notebooks get lost.

Credit sales written in a jotter, prices in your head, and a customer who owes ₦60,000 since March. Chasing feels awkward, so the money quietly disappears.

TrueAlert fix: a customer list with what each person owes, and polite automatic reminders on WhatsApp or SMS, with the pay link inside. You stay the nice one.

03 / 2026 TAX RULES

New tax year, new thresholds.

From 1 January 2026, small companies with turnover up to ₦100 million are exempt from company income tax and the development levy. To use that exemption you need to be able to show your turnover. Most small businesses cannot.

TrueAlert fix: a turnover tracker against the threshold, a VAT toggle, and clean exports your accountant will thank you for. TrueAlert is not tax advice, but it is the record you need.

Features

Questions

Straight answers.

Anything else, message us on WhatsApp. A person replies, usually within the hour.

How does “verified” actually work?

Each invoice gets its own payment link or virtual account number from Paystack or Flutterwave. When money lands, the payment provider tells TrueAlert directly, machine to machine. Only then do we mark it paid and send the receipt. A screenshot, an SMS or a phone call cannot trigger it.

Does TrueAlert hold my money?

No. Customer payments go through Paystack or Flutterwave and settle into your own Nigerian bank account. We only receive the confirmation that the payment happened.

Do my customers need to install anything?

No. They receive the invoice in WhatsApp and pay with a normal bank transfer, card or USSD code. Nothing to download.

Will it work on my phone and my network?

TrueAlert is under 1 MB and runs on any Android or iPhone from the last several years. You can record sales with no network at all, and it syncs when you are back online. It installs from the browser, no Play Store needed.

Is TrueAlert tax advice? Is it approved by the tax authority?

No, and we do not claim to be. TrueAlert keeps clean records of your sales, expenses and turnover that you or your accountant can use. For anything about your own tax position, speak to a qualified adviser.

Where is my data, and who can see it?

Your data is encrypted, backed up daily and handled under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023. Your staff only see what their role allows. We never sell or share your customer list.

How do I pay for TrueAlert, and can I cancel?

By bank transfer, card or USSD, in naira. Monthly or yearly. Cancel any time by sending us a WhatsApp message, and export all your data first if you like.

Stop checking screenshots. Start checking the bank.

Fourteen days free on any plan. Your first verified payment usually happens within the hour.
